about

This piece reflects the influences of Eastern Europe and the Far East on the life and times of this American composer. An Oberek is a polish dance, a bit faster than a polka, and Sokkyo is Japanese for improvisation. Hop and turn, make rise here and now. Almost a pop tune in the NHIC canon.
